JESSICA JONES

My name is Jessica Jones and I have had a passion for training and racing ever since I can remember. Growing up I enjoyed several sports including swimming, running, and most of all soccer, although a knee injury in high school ended my soccer career. Nowadays, I train and coach other athletes alongside my husband, Will Jones and compete as a professional triathlete.

While attending Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge I earned a degree in Biological Sciences.  During this time, I also worked at a local running store, Varsity Sports. Earning my degree and working at the running store not only increased my knowledge of running and fitness but also reinvigorated my love for endurance sports.

I started running again and competing in triathlons in 2010. It didn’t take me long to get back into the swing of things and just one year later, in 2011, I found myself training for my first full marathon and Ironman. I qualified for both the Boston Marathon and the Ironman World Championship on my first attempts. In addition to completing a wide range of 70.3 and sprint distance triathlons, I won the overall women’s title at Ironman Florida in 2015. My love for competing in Ironman races motivated me to obtain my Ironman U certification and to begin coaching others to compete.

Throughout my years as a coach, I have worked with athletes of all levels to achieve their goals in both running and triathlon. Contact me today to learn how I can help you start your journey to achieving your fitness goals.
