“I first met Coach Will shortly after I had just completed my first sprint triathlon at age 49.  I figured trying to qualify for the Ironman World Championships in Kona was the biggest goal in triathlon. I really had no clue what that entailed, and I was a busy physician with a family and the usual obligations. I had no endurance background my having been a high jumper in college and a blackbelt in Taekwondo. Will laid out the plan, and all I had to do was stick to the plan and check off the green boxes. He took away all of the guesswork and it paid off. On my second attempt at the full distance IM in Maryland, I qualified for Kona coming in 3rd place in my AG at age 53—after just 3 1/2 years of training and working together. Since Kona has been postponed for 2 years now, my new goal has been adjusted—to be Coach’s first podium finisher at the Ironman World Championships. This has been a life changing endeavor for me to really look deep into the soul to see what I’m made of. It certainly hasn’t been easy, but it has been simple and fun. It doesn’t matter if your goal is to become a world champion, just to complete a triathlon, to have fun in training, or to just get fit, I am confident Coach Will and 4D can get you there!”
