Weekend Recap – July 2021

Rocketchix ➡️ Lakeshore Summer Scramble ➡️ Soleman ➡️ Ironman 70.3 Oregon ➡️ Ironman Lake Placid ➡️ Bay St. Louis

Clearly, we had a busy couple of weekends of racing on the books and are super proud of the team results. From coast to coast to the sweltering south, we got it covered ??

? Spring takes first OA at Rocketchix (photo supports false claims of only producing awful race photos), Calli crushed everyone in T1, and then took first OA in best emcee division. Special shout out to our very own Lindsey, RD extraordinaire, who put on a seamless event in our backyard. Proud of you ladies!

? Lakeshore Summer Scramble was a first-time event and one that we hope returns! We had a great team turnout and even had some first-timers brave the heat and the crit life.

? Cory and Chris competed at the inaugural IM 70.3 Oregon. Cory cracked the sub 5 mark and continues to pave his way towards the full distance in the fall.

? Soleman had a solid line up with The Kiger mother-son duo, Liz M, and Woody. Mistie and Blaize took home some hardware and great memories racing together in Blaize’s very first OWS tri and Liz M won the duathlon.

? Mark B headed north to a cooler but rainy Ironman Lake Placid and had a PR day at the full distance.

? Burton and Grace represented at the BSL tri last weekend with both taking home first place in their AGs.

Looking ahead to another exciting weekend of racing at Rivercities Tri and the Mobile Cycling Classic. KOC y’all
