Weekend Recap – June 4th – 6th, 2021

The TDL hangover is real y’all. We were happy to have a solid team representation at the 50th Tour de Louisiane stage race (oldest stage race in the country!!!) despite a less than ideal weather forecast. We appreciate the entire NOBC team for continuing to make this one of our favorite events each year.

Now for results:

? The men took 1-4 on the GC with impressive results in all three stages. Bryan took 1st in the road race and TT and had plenty of help from the team along the way. Dustin Ducote held on in a dwindling masters field and had a successful first stage race experience. And our newest Cat 5 Joey got to know just how much crazy he signed up for but also getting on the podium in his first TDL race.

? Julia and Jess went 1 & 2 in the road race and 1 & 3 in GC. Nisha showed up with a brand new bike ready to race her first stage race and crit in the rain like a true teammate ?? Time to recruit some more ladies!!

? Chris Zumbek put in some work for words by traveling to Roanoke, VA for the inaugural Ironman 70.3 Virginia’s Blue Ridge. Packing in those climbing miles for St. George in September.

?Looking ahead to a lot of exciting events: Indian Creek, Ironman CDA, and USAC Nats. Keeping the crush and stoke high!
